There is a lot to think about when you explore the Christian worldview. It is a coherent and comprehensive system of thought that is true to what we can know about ourselves and the world about us. Secular culture has fed the claim that Christian belief is not reasonable, that science is reliable but faith is not based on anything reasonable. It turns out that is simply not the case. The Possibility of Belief discusses all those issues. However, there are many other great resources to help you find out more.

BelievAble Talks
Christian belief is credible philosophically because without an absolute (the existence of God) as a reference point, everything is relative and knowledge ultimately collapses. Christian belief is credible scientifically because it turns out that science can’t operate without faith in there being a knowable and objective reality to explore. Science grew out of the ideas and worldview of Christianity in the west, especially following the Protestant Reformation. Without a concept of there being objective truth about the world that can be explored and known, science makes no sense. But more than that, recent discoveries of science have shown the credibility of the Christian position all along. When Darwin was writing the claim was made that biology supported the story of evolution and that the “fossil record” proved it. The Return of the God Hypothesis
The Big Bang theory claims the universe had a beginning, but can’t explain what caused it. Christians simply believe that God made everything that exists. The discovery of DNA has shown that vast amounts of structured information is coded into every cell of every living thing. Since the information had to come first before the DNA, the obvious question is , Where did the information come from?
