Most secular people in Europe, North America and the developed world seem not to be very interested in what Christians believe or what they have to say. If we are honest, we must admit that all churches are struggling with the challenge of sharing Christian faith with people who have no prior Christian background.
Secularism presents a multi-dimensional challenge to Christian belief and there are no quick easy answers for how to communicate effectively what we believe. A century ago it was possible to assume a basic Christian worldview in most people in Europe and North America and that gave them a starting point for considering Christian belief. That is no longer true. So how should Christians respond?
This short book, Why can’t they hear us?, is a consideration of the challenge of sharing Christian faith with secular people from the perspective of Christians (particularly Adventists).
You can also find the publication, Coming to faith in Jesus, on this website which is intended more for secular people considering Christian faith and aims to set out some things for discussion with Christians.

A quick introduction to Why can’t they hear us?
Here are a few pages as a quick introduction.

Have you ever thought how bleak the secular story of life is?

Have you thought about how big a change it is for a secular person to come to faith in Jesus?

Have you thought through what the Christian story of life is?

And do you have a deep understanding of the evidence that the Christian story is built on and why it is credible and thus life changing?
